Katherine

Katherine is the house. Her work is where the name comes from: full-color florals that bloom across a whole sleeve, a dragon reborn in flame over old ink, a Ghost Rider that used to be someone else's mistake, an Art Nouveau Medusa wound in ivy, a child's hand reaching for a blue butterfly. She reads old tattoos like a map and reworks them into something the client is proud to show again. In a second discipline she practices restorative nipple-areola tattooing, trained under one of DFW's pioneering restorative artists, giving people back a part of themselves after surgery. Both get the same hands and the same patience. Bring her the idea, or the chapter that needs closing.
